Located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Bradford Bay Farms is excited to bring to market a wonderful, tasty culinary delight. Black sea bass, a native to Eastern U.S. waters, has been highly prized by fishermen and chefs, alike, for its firm texture and delicate flavor. Following intensive fishing pressure during the 1980s and ’90s, American universities set out to develop methods to raise black sea bass in land-based fish farms. Bradford Bay Farms is proud to be among the first to use these methods to commercially farm this coveted fish.
